The aim of this working group is to address questions like:
- Experience with new FFT spectrometers
- Calibration (concepts, loads, “ideal” black bodies, etc)
- State of the art of optics design, antennas
- How to prevent baselines in a radiometer and how to deal with them in the retrieval
- Tropospheric correction
- New instruments for new species and candidate instruments for NDACC
- Coordinated campaigns
- Identification of research topics particularly suited for microwave observations (e.g. diurnal variability, mesospheric effects, etc)
